Review: First Aid Beauty Skin Care Kit

About two months ago, I redeemed my points to try the First Aid Beauty Skin Care Kit. I wanted to try something new as my skin looked like it has gotten used to the Shu Uemura skin care line. Also, I thought the whole kit was a good size to take on vacation since I didn’t want to squeeze/carry all the Shu Uemura bottles with me.

The Benefits:

This is perfect for all skin types but also a solution for dryness, dark undereye circles and dullness/uneven skintone.

Traveling to Toronto (0ºC ) to Orlando (32ºC) caused my skin to break out and dehydrate it. The First Aid Beauty skin care made a dramatic improvement after the first use though the first day I did use the cream throughout the day when my skin felt too dry. I noticed all my flaking skin improved after two days.

I really liked the Radiance pads as it’s so easy to use compared to pouring toner onto a cotton pad. Once I finish my Shu Uemura Tsuya Lotion I might switch to the radiance pads though I am a bit worried they might dry out.

Another thing I really like was the Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration. I feel this is the perfect cream for me during the summer since my skin gets very dehydrated during these months and Shu Uemura Tsuya Fine Cream doesn’t hydrate my skin enough.

My mom saw a major improvement in my skin and gave it a try. After three days, her flaking skin has improved and several areas were not red anymore. She is now using this in rotation with Laniege.

The kit itself was only 500 points but it’s no longer at the beauty boutique. However they do have this kit to buy at Sephora. The set is $60 but includes the Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration, Face Cleanser, Eye Duty Triple Remedy and Facial Radiance Pads.

4/5 – For the short time that I used it in Orlando, it made a huge difference to my skin especially since it was a major climate change from Toronto to Orlando. I would recommend it for anyone that has combination and sensitive skin. This is also great for very dry skin, my mom have used this and seen an improvement on her skin after her skin broke out and dried up.
