Day 5

Today was the only day we were able to wake up at 9am and get to the Magic Kingdom around 10:20am. My sis raved about how big the turkey legs were so we decided to have that for lunch. You can get these at the Cool Ship in Tomorrowland.

We didn’t feel too full but we thought it was fine since we had a lot of rides to go on. We regret not getting fastpass+ for the Peter Pan flight ride and the Mine Train Seven Dwarfs ride. If you are planning a trip to Disney World please make it a priority to get fastpass+ for both these rides. We ended up waiting about 2 hours for the Mine Train ride and the Peter Pan wasn’t too bad (1 hour) since we went right after the parade.

We were able to go on a few rides before the afternoon parade.

Before the Electric Parade started, we started getting hungry and ended up going to the Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe to get a bite to eat. We thought the price for this meal was okay since we were able to load up the plate with free sides.

The Electric Parade was so beautiful at night and I loved the music. My
boyfriend teased me that I knew all the words to each song.

Day 6

We had to sleep in since we got back to the resort so late but we were able to make it to Disney Hollywood around 12pm. It was a lot bigger than we expected and wasn’t able to do everything but we still enjoyed it!

For lunch, we head over the Fairfax Fare. It was the only restaurant/stand that we were interested in eating. Overall, the food was okay but the portion was small for the price you pay. At this point, I think we were spoiled by the food at Epcot.

We waited for an hour at the Toys Story Mania and it was the most fun we had. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the mini games and it was definitely worth the wait. If you can book the fast pass I would definetly recommend it.

We used one of our fast pass to watch the Little Mermaid show. It was fun to watch the live performance and laser show.

Afterwards, we went to watch the motor show which shows how car tricks are done in action movies and also explosions.

After the show, we made our way to Toys Mania again to play another round before going to Tower of Terror.

Our Fantasmic! fast pass was open and we made our way to get a good view of the show.

This is the last year Disney Hollywood is hosting the Osborne lights we spent the remainder of the time looking at the lights.

For dinner, we went to the Fulton Crab. The service was good but the food was mediocre. The lobster dogs are great and so was the seafood pasta. The deep fried mixed seafood and chocolate creme brulee were the only thing we regret ordering.

Day 7

This was our last day at Disney World and my boyfriend was so sore from walking. We wanted to take it a bit easier this morning since the evening will definitely be more rushed.

Once we arrived at the Magic Kingdom, we decided to go on our fastpass+ first since it was booked.

After the ride, we were starting to get hungry so we headed over to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe (Tomorrowland) and grabbed some food. I got the chicken burger with green beans and my boyfriend got the chicken breast nuggets with fries. They accidentally messed up our order and gave me fries with a side of green beans! Usually I wouldn’t be too mad but I really wanted a large portion of greens. I felt so deprived of vegetables by the end of the trip.

My boyfriend and I saw Splash Mountain on the list and had to pick it again. The ride was so fun! We still had more than an hour to spare so we decided to grab our last Dole Whip (nooo!). On the way over, we passed by Sunshine Tree Terrace and saw Citrus Swirl on the menu. It peaked our interest and we decided to get it. We got one Citrus Swirl and one Dole Whip to share.

After going on Splash Mountain, we started power walking to Be Our Guest for our dinner reservation. Now we’re on a time crunch since we still had to finish dinner, take the bus back and go to Cirque Du Soleil show.

*Sorry for the poor quality, it was very dark inside

The service was fantastic! My boyfriend let the waiter know that we were in a rush to make it to our show (Cirque Du Soleil – La Nouba) and he ended up being on top of his game. The waiter Franky made sure our dinner was served right away and got our dessert fairly fast. Our dinner and dessert was really good as well. We agreed we are coming back here again next time.

Cirque Du Soleil La Nouba was fantastic and entertaining. It’s very interactive with the audience and it was very funny. I laughed many time over the jokes and acts. I have nothing to compare it to since this was my first time watching.

Just a tip, don’t be fooled with the map on Disney’s website! We thought the section we bought was going to be far and were happy when we received second row thinking it will still be far from the stage. When we got there it was pretty close. There were a few acts where we had to turn our heads or looked straight up to watch the tight rope walking but we both enjoyed the view and experience.

I hope you enjoyed reading and let me know if in the comments below if you’ve been in Disney World during May – August. My boyfriend and I would love to experience Disney during the summer!
