Sephora Haul November 2015

Sorry I haven’t been posting for awhile! If you follow my instagram you might have noticed that I went to Disney World last week! I am still sorting through all the pictures but I’ll be posting some up soon with a summary of what I did and ate.

When I was there I did see an email come through from Sephora and was happy to see that they sent me a 20% coupon. It was perfecting timing since I needed to pick up a few things that I was running out and I wanted to try some other products…

  1. Anastasia Beverly Hills – Brow Wiz: Soft Brown: $27 (normally)
I’ve been on the hunt for a good eyebrow pencil for awhile now. Right now I’m using the one from NYX in grey and haven’t been liking the look so far. I was recommended to use the Soft Brown at the store and will be giving it a try. I tried this shade at the store and although I like the look of it, I don’t really like the pencil (super skinny!). I’ve always been a huge fan of slanted eyebrow pencils.
  2. Shu Uemura – Premium A/I Beauty Cleansing Oil: $89 (normally)
This was my third or fourth cleansing oil that I tried and has been my holy grail since. It easily removes waterproof makeup and I noticed that my skin improved a lot since I switched my whole skin care routine. My skin is not as bumpy and red anymore, and  I rarely have any pimple pop up (once in the last 4-5 months). I’ve been using this + the Tsuya line and it has been making my skin flawless. This and the Tsuya line is expensive ($$$$) but I haven’t found anything else that works so far. I have sensitive + combination skin for anyone that wants to try.
  3. Shu Uemura – Tsuya Skin (cream): $90 (normally)
This is the second bottle of cream that I purchased and it’s more on the expensive side. The first bottle I had lasted a little over 6 months (I do have a bit left) but I feel that for a small bottle it lasts quite a bit. When I first purchased this, the lady at the counter for shu uemura had told me to use a small amount (about a nickle size) for my whole face and to be honest that’s all you really need.

They also gave me a holiday bag as a gift, but sadly they ran out of some of the 100 point samples I wanted to try. Hope everyone took advantage of this coupon and bought some wonderful things!

  1. Whoa, lucky!! Unfortunately, the Sephora at the mall I usually go to is a small counter, and the Sephora at the other mall near me is filled with judgmental middle-aged women :/ I don’t see why people need to be a certain age to wear makeup; I just wear it when I’m bored or I play around with it and experiment because it’s fun lol. I don’t even wear foundation or concealer everyday, honestly.

I’ve been wanting to get something for my eyebrows, but I have no idea what to get! I’ve been recommended the eyebrow pencils, but I have no idea about the color or if there’s a specific way to use the product. Any insight?
