Review: The Crème Shop – Pink Lemonade Face Mask

When I went to Winners recently I noticed they started carrying a lot of face masks now. I bought a few boxes to try since they were all reasonably priced. Yesterday night, after I showered I tried the Pink Lemonade Face Mask by The Crème Shop. This is 100% cruelty free and was not tested on animals.

The Benefits:

Lemon clears and brightens skin, which helps to repair acne scars, dark spots and other stubborn marks. Lemon’s antibacterial properties act as acne treatment, eliminating blackheads and excess oil.

Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Alcohol, Vaccinium Mystrillus Fruit/Leaf Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Beta-glucan, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Dipotassium Glycyhizate, Arbutin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, PEG-14M, Xanthan Gum, Allantoin, Erythritol, Sodium Citrate, Disoium EDTA, PEG-60, Hydrogenated Caster Oil, Phenoxyethanol. Methylparaben, Fragrance (Parfum)

With sensitive and combination skin, sometimes it’s hard to find new products that will work well with my skin. I tried one of the five masks that came in the box and noticed my face seemed a little brightened and some red spots disappeared. See the photos below both pictures taken the morning of. Click on the image below to see an enlarged version.

Before Mask
As you can see there a bit of red spots on both side of my cheeks.

After Mask
The morning after the mask you can see the redness and spots disappeared. You can see there’s a difference between before and after (sorry for the red mark on my nose was wearing my glasses before i took this picture lol)

This box of mask (comes with 5 sheets) was bought at Winners for $7.99. Price was isn’t too bad compared to some of the other masks I’ve bought. There’s a difference between before and after. I might try some of the other masks The Crème Shop offer.

3.5/5 – Will purchase again. Only gave it a 3.5 because the masks claims to eliminate blackheads and repair acne scars, dark spots, and other stubborn marks. I didn’t see any of my blackheads removed. As well I don’t have any acne scars at the moment so I wasn’t able to compare the difference.
